Drywall Installation with Neoprene Foam

Drywall installation with neoprene foam can enhance acoustics by noise reduction in spaces where needed. Noise reduction is acheived primarily through the minimization of vibrations by dampening the sound transmission, since the foam is not a solid material such as a framing stud. Most sound transmission, even in installs that utilize batt insulation, is where the drywall or sheet rock is solely attached to the framing.
